Nicole was a nurse at the cancer Institute. I met Nicole while I was in the waiting room, waiting to hear the update regarding my husband’s surgery. She reassured me that she was there for anything I needed, and instantly I trusted her. She met us again in April when we began chemotherapy; she happened to be our infusion nurse. The day we graduated (last treatment), she presented my husband with his certificate of completion. No more chemotherapy, it was finished. Just recently out of the blue, she called to check on us.
